I was so sorry to hear of your Father's passing. It was a very sad day. Carl Bubba as we called him was the best boss/friend I have ever had. I will miss his phone calls and the chats we had. I am thankful of the nice conversation we had on his last birthday. When Bubba retired he gave all of us a momentum to remember him by...he had sweatshirts made for us...'I am one of Bubba's Beauties' I will wear mine in his honor tomorrow.
- Julie Sullivan, Urbandale, IA
Carl was a very caring person who seldom got mad. When he did get mad, you knew about it. He called everyone 'Bubba' and everyone like him. Bettie & I send our condolences to his family and friends who will miss him.

On behalf of our Family, being Charles and Doris, Mark, Tim and Sally and their families, we send our deepest sympathy. Carl was a step brother to Doris and I, and a step uncle to our children. When they lived in Ohio, we were able to spend some very good times with them. Our children bonded well. When they moved to Iowa, we attempted to keep lines of communication open. We were able to visit Carl and Shirley, on occasion, when they moved back to Savannah. Doris and I are so glad we were able to visit Carl this past Spring when his health was declining. Carl was a good man, and he will be missed. May God bless his wonderful and devoted children.
